Overview
The Facility Lead is responsible for managing daily facility operations, maintenance activities, contractor performance, and asset management to ensure a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. The role also supports vendor coordination, SAP-related administration, compliance requirements, and client service delivery while driving overall facility performance
Responsibilities
- Oversee the general upkeep of the facility, ensuring all areas are functional and meet company standards
- Lead the daily maintenance operations, scheduling and prioritizing tasks to optimize facility performance
- Supervise both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs
- Maintain accurate records of facility assets and ensure effective management of parts and inventory
- Monitor contractor performance to ensure compliance with service agreements and standards
- Ensure the facility complies with all health and safety regulations
- Prepare and submit reports on facility performance, maintenance schedules, and incident management
- Use SAP to manage and process billing, invoicing and payments for facilities-related expenses.
- Assist in liaise with vendors to obtain quotes, process contracts, and track the progress of services delivered.
- Work closely and provide full support to client requests and needs
Qualifications
- Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
- Proven experience in facilities management, with 5 to 7 years of experience in a leadership role
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and work order processes.
- Proficiency in SAP, MS Office Suite; experience with facilities management software is an advantage
- CIDB certification will be an added advantage
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is an added advantage
- Willingness to be stationed in Port Dickson
