S&D Planning Coordinator

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and steward for S&D (Supply & Distributions) Planning activities. Initiates meetings and discussions in the pursuit of S&D Planning programs.
- Develops new business opportunities that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of current supply chain system. This shall include but not limited to exploring synergies and joint ventures with other oil companies and other business entities.
- Conducts review and assessment of the current operations of S&D and determine potential optimum use of resources and prepare recommendations to management.
- Other responsibilities that the S&D Planning & Operations Support Manager may delegate in the course of his/her work duty.
- In executing the many studies and projects relating to the development of above initiatives, the range of responsibilities include the following:
- Develop or review the framework of the study, including timeliens and milestones.
- Coordinates with other Department Managers/Division Managers.
- Prepares or coordinates the completion of the study or project.
- Be involved on committees or task forces that may be created from time to time to undertake cross-functional efforts relating to such studies. - Prepares various regular and special reports to the Department Managers.
- In executing the aforementioned plans and programs, the responsibilities will including the following:
- Prepares special studies, particularly on cost effectiveness and resource requirements.
- Coordinates with the various divisions/sections/units within Supply & Distribution as well as with Corporate Planning, Controllers, Retail and Commercial on such activies as Operating and Business Plans.
- Reviews the plans and programs of the department including assessing their relevance to the overall strategic directions, assisting in the economic evaluation, technical risks.
- Provide counsel and advice to the Managers and planning groups in the develpment of their respective business plans.
- Review viabilitiy and feasibility of investment proposals and special projects/programs.
- Assist the groups in gathering information requirements to strengthen programs.
- Prepares reports and/or makes presentations to management regarding the divisions performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Sciences/Economics or equivalent qualification.
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in a related field would be an added advantage.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong analytical skills with a creative mindset to drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and database tools.
- Result-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively across teams and outside formal authority lines.
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions.
- High resilience with a strong tolerance for adversity.
