Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified and experienced E&I Technician to oversee the maintenance and reliability of electrical and instrumentation systems at our Port Dickson PME Plant. The role involves troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, calibration, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine checks and maintenance on plant electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair factory machinery, computers, and office equipment.
- Ensure timely and accurate calibration of instruments and adherence to maintenance procedures.
- Monitor and maintain stock levels of tools, parts, and equipment; conduct monthly inventory reporting.
- Liaise with Suruhanjaya Tenaga for operational licensing and coordinate with visiting electrical engineers.
- Support plant projects and respond to emergency maintenance needs.
- Manage workshop housekeeping and implement 5S activities.
- Ensure safety compliance during all tasks and maintain security of workshop assets.
- Complete scheduled maintenance and repair work as assigned.
- Perform other duties as required by plant management.
Requirements
- Minimum Diploma qualification with a valid B0 Chargeman Certificate.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical failures and reading schematic drawings.
- Basic math skills and understanding of Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations and Malaysian legal acts.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
