Fleet Supervisor

Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage hauler operations, including truck inspections and driver competency training, to ensure compliance with safety standards and delivery performance aligned with the department’s mission.
- Ensure adherence to company incident management and reporting guidelines.
- Lead and conduct investigations on Safety & Control incidents, including but not limited to customer complaints, product spills, crossovers, vehicle accidents, and near-loss incidents. Investigation reports must be completed within 14 working days.
- Develop and implement location-specific operational improvement plans to enhance efficiency and support overall business objectives.
- Drive the implementation and compliance of Petron Operations Integrity Management System (POIMS) and Loss Prevention System (LPS), including active follow-up with haulers to address identified gaps
- Collaborate with Fleet Analysts to improve truck utilization, operational efficiency, and cost per unit
- Champion Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and integrate ESG practices into daily hauler operations.
- Serve as the main point of contact during Emergency Response situations.
- Conduct monthly toolbox talks for hauler management and drivers (virtual or physical sessions).
- Facilitate weekly operational meetings with haulers to review plans and performance against previous commitments.
- Attend weekly fleet management meetings to escalate and resolve operational issues requiring management support.
- Proactively communicate delivery delays caused by unforeseen circumstances (e.g., terminal disruptions, road accessibility issues) and recommend appropriate mitigation plans to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent, with strong academic achievement.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or operations management.
- Solid knowledge of Petron Operations Integrity Management Systems (POIMS) and Loss Prevention Systems (LPS).
- Strong credibility and relationship management skills with haulers and operational partners.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills; capable of conducting effective training sessions.
- Adaptable and flexible to meet evolving business needs.
- Willing to be based at Kuantan Terminal.
