Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements and related reports for a public listed company in accordance with local accounting standards and Bursa Malaysia Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS), for management review and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate and respond to audit requests, including the preparation and submission of supporting documentation.
Monitor lease arrangements to ensure compliance with MFRS 16 and manage monthly lease accounting entries.
Prepare monthly provisional tax computations and submit tax-related manual journal entries in SAP.
Prepare statements of cash flows and compute deferred income tax balances.
Assist in the preparation of quarterly Bursa Malaysia reporting.
Prepare statutory financial statements and supporting workings.
Provide analytical commentary on movements in Statement of Financial Position items.
Liaise and collaborate with various business units to support financial reporting requirements.

Qualifications:

Degree in Accounting / Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, MICPA, others)
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in accounting and auditing. However, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Strong conceptual skills for looking forward and appreciating business processes and systems
Strong in statistical and financial analysis
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Proficiency in SAP application is an added advantage
