Refinery Coordination Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Ensure continuous supply of product for plant operation and terminal with minimal product quality giveaway.
- Coordinate among Supply, Operations and Lab team on vessel line up for products loading and discharge to minimize demurrage and dead freight.
- Responsible for weekly run plan towards optimizing higher-value products.
- Interface with Operations for loading/discharge preparations and sequences.
- Responsible for Mogas blending and Mogas KPIs update.
- Responsible for weekly DAT, monthly performance review, weekly Operating highlight and monthly stewardship.
- Responsible for Revised product specification e-MOC.
- Interface with Maintenance on tank/sphere outage planning.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors’ Degree in Chemical Engineering, or other relevant disciplines with CGPA >3.00.
- Preferably 2 to 4 years’ experience in refinery industry.
- Good understanding and knowledge of work interfaces among Supply, Operations, Process Engineering, Lab and Terminal.
- Ability to work independently and work at odd hours/days.
- Good interpersonal and people management skills for both lateral and upward interfaces in the company.
- Must be willing to work in Petron Port Dickson Refinery, Negeri Sembilan.
