Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Planning & Logistics Analyst to support plant operations, inventory management, production planning, and logistics coordination in a palm oil refinery. The role involves optimizing stock levels, coordinating deliveries, managing certifications, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor and manage raw material and product movement, stock levels, and production schedules.
Plan monthly production run rates and align with maintenance, sales, and procurement teams.
Coordinate delivery operations, including intercompany transfers and terminal support.
Analyze operating expenditures, justify variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
Manage SAP postings for inventory, goods receipt/issue, and month-end closing activities.
Support regulatory compliance including MSPO, ISO, Halal, and Kosher certifications.
Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders (suppliers, customers, authorities).
Oversee tank farm operations, weighbridge management, and stock reporting.
Assist in contract vetting, tax exemption processes, and regulatory submissions.
Participate in audits and contribute to continuous improvement of procedures and systems.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in the palm oil, oil & gas, or related industry.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Independent, flexible, and willing to work extended or off-hours.
Knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and regulatory standards (MSPO, Halal, ISO).
