Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Planning & Logistics Analyst to support plant operations, inventory management, production planning, and logistics coordination in a palm oil refinery. The role involves optimizing stock levels, coordinating deliveries, managing certifications, and supporting cross-functional teams to ensure smooth and cost-effective operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage raw material and product movement, stock levels, and production schedules.
- Plan monthly production run rates and align with maintenance, sales, and procurement teams.
- Coordinate delivery operations, including intercompany transfers and terminal support.
- Analyze operating expenditures, justify variances, and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Manage SAP postings for inventory, goods receipt/issue, and month-end closing activities.
- Support regulatory compliance including MSPO, ISO, Halal, and Kosher certifications.
- Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders (suppliers, customers, authorities).
- Oversee tank farm operations, weighbridge management, and stock reporting.
- Assist in contract vetting, tax exemption processes, and regulatory submissions.
- Participate in audits and contribute to continuous improvement of procedures and systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in the palm oil, oil & gas, or related industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and SAP.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Independent, flexible, and willing to work extended or off-hours.
- Knowledge of logistics, inventory control, and regulatory standards (MSPO, Halal, ISO).
